There is another orchestra on this live CD consisting of:
The wind in the leaves, cars driving by, the singing of bats and crickets, the crying and laughing of children, a car horn, a vending machine, chairs being moved around, voices, sneezing and coughing, sighs, and the audience clapping. We kept and recorded all that for these musical documents, because Rosa Balistreri dedicated her music to fate and adventure, the streets, the people: the music is intertwined with life.
Traditional music and lyrics except:
- A curuna (Otello Profazio Edition Warner/Fonit )
- I pirati a Palermo (Buttitta-Balistreri Edition Warner/Fonit )
- U pumu (G.Belfiore –R.Balistreri Edition Warner/Fonit)
- Rosa canta e cunta (Rosa Balistreri)
- Quannu moru (Rosa Balistreri)
(with the kind permission of Edition Teatro del Sole)
- U cunigghiu (anonymous)
